ZZ Top – Tres Hombres (London Records – XPS 631, 1973)
A great band who - even with their wild success in the 80s and 90s - was always a little underrated. Good luck trying to match the southern boogie rock-funk of their 70s records: ZZ Top was everything right about rock and roll: loud, unpretentious, silly, funny, just a little dangerous and always in the pocket. Dusty was the key to a magical rock and roll trinity (and rhythm section). Goodnight, hombre.
